1  Help / Windows 10 / Re: New Navigation Pane W11 22h2 on: September 01, 2023, 08:55:40 am
It's explorerframe, tested and it works, but it doesn't have the same design as before (it's tighter)
I put the new Navigation Pane back, I'll get used to it
2  Help / Windows 10 / Re: New Navigation Pane W11 22h2 on: August 28, 2023, 02:18:39 pm
It didn't work, thanks for the help
I would have to figure out which file depends on the Navigation Pane (it's not explorer.exe, it seems)
3  Help / Windows 10 / Re: New Navigation Pane W11 22h2 on: August 25, 2023, 07:41:16 am
Thanks for your help, I'll test

Where did you find the FileExplorerNavpaneFixe ? I don't see it Cheesy
4  Help / Windows 10 / New Navigation Pane W11 22h2 on: August 24, 2023, 12:37:00 pm
Hello,

I'm asking here just in case Cheesy
I disabled the new Navigation Pane of Windows 11 (to have the old one) with Vivetool but since the last update, it no longer works
Surely MS has removed all traces of the old Navigation Pane since the last update

Is it possible to have the old Navigation Pane (by changing/modifying a file) ?

Thanks
5  Help / Windows 10 / Height title bar on: February 09, 2023, 06:53:36 pm
Hello

Is it possible in WSB to change the height of the title bar (the blue part) ?

Currently I use these registry keys, but not sure if it works with a custom theme

Code:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics]
"CaptionHeight"="-300"
"CaptionWidth"="-495"
"PaddedBorderWidth"="-45"

Thanks
6  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Inactive title bar color on: February 09, 2023, 05:52:56 pm
No worries, maybe it's different registry keys

PS: I found msstyles editor which seems to be compatible with windows 11 (new task manager, etc...) I looked quickly, but less detailed than WSB
7  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Inactive title bar color on: February 07, 2023, 11:44:04 pm
Thanks for your reply

Ok, there is only this value then, so I tested the value at 100, is that the closest I guess ?

Really too bad that registry keys (accentcolorinactive) don't work on custom themes Cheesy

Thanks

EDIT : And therefore not possible to put a different color?

8  Help / Windows 10 / Inactive title bar color on: February 07, 2023, 01:58:53 pm
Hello

Until now, I had modified the aero.msstyles file and used the theme with this file (easier)
But now I wanted to use a different theme name, so I copied/pasted the aero.theme, aero.msstyles files in tistou.xxxx (modify info in tistou.theme), everything is OK except for the inactive title bar color (OK for active title bar)

I searched in WSB, I thought it was there

Windows & Caption Buttons > Aero > DWM Window > Frames > Window > Top > Inactive

Compared to Active, it lacks the COLORIZATIONCOLOR property but cannot add it
Need to change somewhere else?

Thanks for your help

11  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Stylehack on: March 05, 2022, 04:26:36 pm
Ok thanks,

I try to apply the stylehack (I have the list with press on shift + add style hack)
But I have the impression that they are not applied (for example, I do not have the popup which asks me to add the images)

I have to do something else

Thanks so much

21  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Device storage on: April 23, 2018, 05:16:10 pm
Hello

Someone managed to do the change with the 1803 (17134.1) ?
I tried by using the file of the 1703 (as for the 1709), it works but it "breaks" the explorer when I click on an icon (Recycle Bin on Desktop for example)

Thanks
22  Help / Windows 10 / Free space values on: November 13, 2017, 02:49:26 pm
Hello

Under the Windows Explorer (This PC) at the progress bar, Windows only displays 3 digits for free space values (12.3Gb or 123Gb or 1.23Tb)
I think it's possible to change this value and move to 4 digits, to have 123,4Gb for example)
But I do not find where this setting is present

If someone has an idea

Thanks
23  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Hidden Scrollbar on: November 13, 2017, 02:44:04 pm
First I asked to have a scrollbar "auto hidden" as the window Settings

I will try this, thank you
24  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Hidden Scrollbar on: November 08, 2017, 04:01:55 pm
Aa ok, thanks

In the Settings window, the scrollbar is like this
Hidden : Settings hidden screen
Visible (past mouse over it): Settings visible screen

And in the explorer or IE, it's always like that (Explorer screen)
And I would like to have as for the Settings window

The problem with IE is that it's never the same "wallpaper")

It's possible ?

Thanks so much

28  Help / Windows 8 / Windows 8.1 / Re: Tool to convert binary UIFILES to xml text on: November 01, 2017, 07:16:04 am
Thanks for your reply

I extract a 40960 binary from explorerframe.dll of Win10 1703, convert to txt and integrate into explorerframe.dll of Win10 1709
not same dll version of explorerframe.dll
29  Help / Windows 8 / Windows 8.1 / Re: Tool to convert binary UIFILES to xml text on: October 28, 2017, 05:00:15 pm
Hello

I'm not sure I have an answer Tongue

Once I extract the binary resource (40960 of explorerframe.dll), use the software to convert it to .txt and "reintegrate" the .txt into the dll with Restorator for example
Is there anything else to do?
At reboot, the changes do not apply ... As if it kept "in memory before the changes"

Thanks

30  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Device storage on: October 25, 2017, 07:51:44 pm
So, I replaced all the resources in MUI and UIFILE (with that of 1703), but no change
Will it be an icon in the other entries ?

Thanks for your helps

Alors, j'ai remplacé toutes les ressources dans MUI and UIFILE (avec celle de la 1703), mais aucun changement

31  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Device storage on: October 25, 2017, 03:24:07 pm
So that's it Wink
I replaced the file explorerframe.dll of the 1709 with that of the 1703, and it is like with the 1703

To keep the original file of the 1709, I just have to change the "entries" MUI and/or UIFILE ?

Thanks

Merci

36  Help / Windows 10 / Device storage on: October 22, 2017, 05:41:30 am
Hello

With the 1709, the "bar" of the "Device Storage" seems smaller and there is a "space" on the left (see screen) compared to 1703 for example
Is it possible to delete this "space" and have like 1703

I tried to compare the margins between the 2 versions, but found nothing different
And I wonder if it's possible, because I use the theme of RS2, I should have the same thing with the RS2

Thanks for your helps
37  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Custom Class Maps and Import Scripts for Windows 10 TH2 & RS1 on: October 20, 2017, 12:21:07 pm
Hello

As I did for the Windows RS2, I copied my aero.msstyles file to the Resources\Themes\aero directory (RS3) and patched the DLLs with UltraUXThemePatcher_3.3.0

it seems to work but it seems that it breaks some things on Windows 10 RS3
By searching with google, the RS2 theme does not work with the RS3

Will someone have do a patch (as for theme TH2 => RS1) ?
Or it's UltraUXThemePatcher_3.3.0, the problem ?

Thanks so much for your help

I tested with the 15063 and the theme of the RS1 (aero.msstyles file of the RS1) works very well

For info Smiley

Thanks
40  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Custom Class Maps and Import Scripts for Windows 10 TH2 & RS1 on: March 28, 2017, 06:06:16 pm
At the moment I don't know, I don't think there are any working theme patchers or any way to test themes are even working, tbh I think themes on 10 will be dead when RS2 is released, the only one who
has any hope of reviving themes for Windows 10 RS2 is Tyhiy, I think that he might be hinting about doing something like that anyway.

Thanks Smiley

With the RS2 Insiders version, the RS1 themes works (I have not tested the RS2 insiders) ?
With a bit of luck
