when I edit or export an image for 1.5.4.3
it looks all weird
on the left is what the image is suppose to look like
on the right in photoshop it what it looks like when I go edit or export the image

IT is because you have your Inactive DWM window top frame transparent.
and Windows 8 by default makes your frame white in the inactive state
I don't know if there is anything that can be done as I think it is hard wired into the system

Oh wait you mean making it use a different image for IE10?
If so I'm looking for the same thing since I also have exactly the same problem

I am trying to figure out how to link this part of IE to a different image in msstyle
right now it is linked to Toolbars, Headers, & Rebar > Rebar > NavBar > Aero > Normal > Active > Background
but it doesn't look right

I have setup a file hosting site
right now it will work with png,jpeg,jpg,gif,txt,zip,rar uploads
you can make the files private that way only you can see them
there is a 2 GB file limit
if you need another file extension add let me know

Here is an idea for the next version to support Win8.
Make sure it supports the metro screen as in it will put an icon on the metro start menu

just think. We can make our themes work on both the PC, Tablet, phone or whatever else will run Win8

My HD that I store all my themes all my theme source files and my idea everything that I have or was working on it gone.

But in the Explorer window I want to move the scrollbar for the tree from the right side to the left side of it

been messing with UIFile in shell32 but I can't mess to get it to move over

Is the project on hold?

Because everyone here is waiting for 1.6 because of all the updates that Panda-x has put into the xml stuff we want it. I know I am not alone in this about not getting any word about anything from you so please drop a line when you log on to your site and feed the hands that feed you

VistaStyleBuilder 1.6 is being worked upon:
 + fixes to the XMLs by Panda X
 + dialog bug still researching
 + several other small fixes
 + re-engineering the MSStyles compiler engine to be ready for future additions (this takes quite some time)

Over time, there have been several new features and even Windows 7 compatibility, for free. You have to understand that to make a normal living, we have to invest into multiple products - especially since piracy rates on Windows Style Builder has sky rocketed lately (for every sale we make, we see about 200 pirated copies, most of which (50%) are used on a regular basis still).

About AveStyler: the AveStyler product has been sold to a 3rd party which I'm not allowed to name yet due to contractual obligations. Existing AveStyler installs and activation keys will continue to work, of course.

I'm aiming for a september release for 1.6.

Guess we are not seeing a release for awhile as it is a month behind now

It's coming! As promised, 1.x updates will always be free.

How is the working coming on this? Maybe a release this month??

And are you planning on charging people for 2.0 of this program
