2) For this you have to edit the UIFile in the shellstyle.dll
     Find <if id="atom(ProperTreeLinksHeader)">, and edit the background and foreground colors (they are in argb format).  Foreground is the text color and background is the background color.
3) Folder button: Explorer and Shell>Shell>ProperTree><1>

What does the 'a' in 'argb' stand for?

alpha, 0=totally transparent, 255=totally opaque
