Bad timing Dave.

It's actually Explorer & Shell > Shell > DatePicker
3  Help / Windows 10 / Re: WSB Save Window Background Color on: December 10, 2023, 04:15:13 pm
Just for fun I added an image to BackgroundWithBorder to see what would happen.

It showed up but only in the WSB search box:

4  Help / Windows 10 / Re: WSB Save Window Background Color on: December 09, 2023, 03:58:39 pm
I don't know how to add it to the Class Map. Sorry.

I don't know what else to tell you except good luck!
5  Help / Windows 10 / Re: WSB Save Window Background Color on: December 09, 2023, 03:06:57 pm
The WSB I use doesn't have Light Mode because everything that isn't Dark Mode is basically Light Mode.

There is no officially latest WSB.
6  Help / Windows 10 / Re: WSB Save Window Background Color on: December 08, 2023, 10:57:51 pm
You don't need to change the Class Maps:

In Search EditText has just a font property and value and the FilterText has just a textcolor property and value.

BackgroundWithBorder is already there like Address, Breadcrumb, & Search > Search > Edit > Basic > Normal > Active > BackgroundWithBorder for instance.

Just add and delete the properties and change the values.
7  Help / Windows 10 / Re: WSB Save Window Background Color on: December 07, 2023, 10:58:41 pm
We are talking about the old search box right? As far as I know the new search box isn't in msstyles and can't be changed with WSB.

I don't use Mica For Everyone or any of that stuff.

I use the WSB attached here just because it's fairly well organized and works ok:

https://www.vistastylebuilder.com/forum/index.php?topic=2535.msg14456#msg14456..

(This won't test unless you first open and close the Show Controls preview window when you first start it. I don't know why)
8  Help / Windows 10 / Re: WSB Save Window Background Color on: December 07, 2023, 04:28:55 pm
Default msstyle. Nothing unusual at all:

9  Help / Windows 10 / Re: WSB Save Window Background Color on: December 07, 2023, 04:11:14 pm
I just replaced the image at

Address, Breadcrumb, & Search > Search > SearchBox > Basic > Normal > Active > Background > Focused

with a transparent image.

Maybe you have some added complications going on or something. But that is all that I did.
10  Help / Windows 10 / Re: WSB Save Window Background Color on: December 07, 2023, 03:58:30 pm
I can use a transparent image for the focused search box and type without a black background just fine:

So I still don't understand
11  Help / Windows 10 / Re: WSB Save Window Background Color on: December 07, 2023, 03:17:29 pm
I don't understand any of this. Sorry.
12  Help / Windows 10 / Re: WSB Save Window Background Color on: December 07, 2023, 02:40:26 pm
Are you saying you want the search box to have a focused border when clicked like the address bar does?

Then just change the border color on the images at

Address, Breadcrumb, & Search > Search > SearchBox > Basic > Normal > Active > Background > Focused
Windows 10 Dark Mode > Address, Breadcrumb, & Search > Search > SearchBox > Basic > Normal > Active > Background > Focused
13  Help / Windows 10 / Re: WSB Save Window Background Color on: December 07, 2023, 03:14:32 am
The menu hover color and textcolor are at

Explorer & Shell > Explorer > Items View > ListView > ListItem > Selected
Windows 10 Dark Mode > Explorer & Shell > Explorer > Items View > ListView > ListItem > Selected

I don't use SAB. I don't know anything about customizing the new command bar.
14  Help / Windows 10 / Re: WSB Save Window Background Color on: December 06, 2023, 11:05:38 pm
I don't remember. I'm on Windows 11 23H2 so I don't have those old menus anymore.
15  Help / Windows 10 / Re: WSB Save Window Background Color on: December 06, 2023, 09:58:49 pm
Show me a picture of what you want.
16  Help / Windows 10 / Re: WSB Save Window Background Color on: December 06, 2023, 02:22:47 pm
This?

For me it's Windows 10 Dark Mode > Explorer & Shell > Shell > PreviewPaneControl > CommonItemsDialog:Edit > Background
            Windows 10 Dark Mode > Explorer & Shell > Shell > PreviewPaneControl > DarkMode CommonItemsDialog:Edit > Background
17  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Adding mouse coursor sound and background to theme file folder on: October 30, 2023, 02:56:50 am
In the second picture you show a theme file for War_Thunder2 which looks like it is made correctly. So just do the same for your own theme file.
18  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Adding mouse coursor sound and background to theme file folder on: October 29, 2023, 10:43:10 pm
All of that is in your .theme file which you can open with notepad or whatever.

If you have custom stuff then you have to include them in your theme folder and change the pathways in your theme file to go to them instead.

Like here's part of the default theme file for cursors, wallpaper etc.

You want to change those pathways to go to your custom stuff:

19  Help / Windows 10 / Re: clock on: October 28, 2023, 10:46:42 pm
1) Use a smaller font at Taskbar & System Tray > System Tray > Basic > Clock > Time
2) Could be a browser thing or a light mode/dark mode conflict. I can't tell for sure.
I'd start using the color replacer and do individual color changes until I found out what colors were being used and work from there
20  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Location on: October 27, 2023, 01:26:48 am
New Search can't be changed with WSB because it's no longer in the msstyle file
21  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Location on: October 26, 2023, 10:27:14 pm
That's the way it was back in 2010.

Ask questions, with pictures, about what you are using right now.

23  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Location on: October 15, 2023, 12:49:46 am
You mean all that ornamental stuff on the sides?

These are usually found in Windows & Caption Buttons > Aero > DWM Window > Frames > Window Shadows

Might be so here. If it is then be careful because those images will be on all window frames not just these.
24  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Location on: October 14, 2023, 10:34:47 pm
Lists, Menus, & Tabs > Immersive Context Menu

Lists, Menus, & Tabs > Immersive Dark Context Menu

Like here when it used to be under Unknown:

25  Help / Windows 10 / Re: need help on: October 08, 2023, 04:02:46 am
I guess it could be

Buttons, Boxes, & Controls > Buttons > Navigation > BackButton
Windows 10 Dark Mode > Buttons, Boxes, & Controls > Buttons > Navigation > BackButton

No idea why it's not changing for you
26  Help / Windows 10 / Re: need help on: October 07, 2023, 10:32:07 pm
Is this Buttons, Boxes, & Controls > Buttons > Button > RadioButton? Hard to tell from your picture.

27  Help / Windows 10 / Re: WSB on: September 22, 2023, 09:11:56 pm
It's just the WSB that I use.

There's no Light Mode in it because everything that isn't Dark Mode is basically Light Mode.
28  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Location on: September 21, 2023, 09:40:43 pm
The textcolor?

Taskbar & System Tray > System Tray > Basic > Clock > Time > Normal, Hover & Pressed > TEXTCOLOR

If it's still possible using SIB/SAB.
29  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Location on: September 21, 2023, 03:15:01 am
All of it?

Most of it was in Taskbar & System Tray > System Tray > Basic.

I don't know how much of it you can still change using StartIsBack or StartAllBack. Probably not much.
30  Help / Windows 10 / Separator Lines on: September 06, 2023, 01:38:34 am
Does anyone know where these separator lines in the new nav pane are located?

I can't find them in the msstyles Huh?
31  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Location on: September 04, 2023, 01:25:09 am
Explorer & Shell > Explorer > ReadingPane > Background or

Windows 10 Dark Mode > Explorer & Shell > Explorer > ReadingPane > Background

36  Help / Windows 10 / Re: New Navigation Pane W11 22h2 on: August 25, 2023, 02:48:52 am
I don't use vivetool or mach2 but here's a list of feature ID changes for various builds. I only see two new builds from last week:

https://github.com/riverar/mach2/tree/master/features

Looking in one of these I found stuff like:

FileExplorerNavpaneFixes: 40767182.

You could try disabling the NavPane IDs you find and see if one works.

Lists, Menus, & Tabs > Immersive Context Menu > PopUpBackground & PopUpBorders > FILLCOLORHINT

Or same places in Lists, Menus, & Tabs > Immersive Dark Context Menu
40  Help / Windows 10 / Re: locate on: August 04, 2023, 02:14:03 pm
1) PushButtons, CheckBoxes & RadioButtons are everywhere. Look at the File Explorer Options menu for example.
2) I know I've seen the CommandLink buttons but I don't remember where.
3) At around 9:40 in this video I explain GroupBox:
https://www.vistastylebuilder.com/forum/index.php?topic=1268.0
4) Copy Close & Pause are in the upper right of the Copy window.
5) The rest aren't used as far as I know.
