1  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Centre Title Bar Text & Changing Start Button Size on: February 25, 2020, 10:52:31 pm
Nice find Smiley

Doubly weird is that I have to have the SAME image for both large and small for the big one to register at all. During testing anyway.
2  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Some Tabs place on: February 21, 2020, 02:09:52 am
That's strange. In my WSB all the states are showing correctly:

3  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Some Tabs place on: February 17, 2020, 05:13:24 pm
Lists, Menus, & Tabs > Tab > TabItem > Normal, Hot & Selected
4  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Centre Title Bar Text & Changing Start Button Size on: February 16, 2020, 11:55:22 pm
For some reason I don't understand I can change the Small Icons Start Button:

but not the large one.

Maybe somebody else can explain why this is happening Huh?
5  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Close glyph and UI file question on: February 16, 2020, 02:48:44 pm
1) I use this:

Works great.

2) I don't think it's in the msstyles
6  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Centre Title Bar Text & Changing Start Button Size on: February 15, 2020, 02:28:57 pm
You can try the WSB that's attached.

It's what I use. I'm on Windows 10 build 1909
7  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Centre Title Bar Text & Changing Start Button Size on: February 14, 2020, 10:59:29 pm
I don't know if it makes any difference that you are running the 2019 LTSC.

You can manipulate or replace the start button images like any other image.

In your case the images are probably still at Unknown > TaskbarPearl

But if you are Using Grim's custom data they have been moved to Taskbar & System Tray > TaskBar > Aero > Start Button
8  Tips and Visual Styles / Tips and Tricks / Re: Adding Textcolor states to Explorer ItemsView/Command Module on: February 14, 2020, 04:19:47 pm
Still works in 10 for me:

I added foreground="rgb(255,0,0)" to all 9 instances of:

background="dtb(CommandModule, 3, 2)"
background="dtb(CommandModule, 3, 3)"
background="dtb(CommandModule, 3, 4)"

to change the hover, pressed and keyfocused commandmodule button textcolors to red.

14  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Box background issue on: December 27, 2019, 05:55:05 pm
Did you search the blue color? It's behind the 136 in Tint too

Yeah the arrows are probably Buttons, Boxes, & Controls > Buttons > Spin. Not sure about the box though

What's the app?
15  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Box background issue on: December 27, 2019, 03:46:31 pm
Are you talking about these blue-gray lines around the arrow?

I don't know what app I'm looking at here or anything so to see if it's in the msstyle do this:

Use the Color Replacer tool in WSB and replace rgb(12,37,49) with something else and see if it changes.

If it changes then you know it's not an image. Undo the change, then do a color search and start changing locations of the color until you find the right one.

If it doesn't change then you know it is an image. Do a color search including images and start changing locations of the color until you find the right one.

If none of this works then you know the color isn't in the msstyle but in the app itself

17  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Address Bar window1909 on: December 05, 2019, 01:49:47 pm
I already fixed that when I replaced your bad AddressBand background images with the default ones. I'm not doing it again.
18  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Address Bar window1909 on: December 05, 2019, 12:22:08 am
1) The buttons are jumping because the borders are the same color as the background. I would just make the images solid colors with no borders.

2) Make sure you replace the Address, Breadcrumb, & Search > Address > Go Toolbar > Basic > Max > Active and Inactive > Button with your new ones using export and import images

3) That x glyph with a white background isn't in the msstyle so you can't edit it with WSB

4) That blue arrow looks like an old Navigation Button from Windows 8. I don't see it in your msstyle.

5) If you don't understand how to use the import and export buttons I describe how in this video I made years ago:

19  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Address Bar window1909 on: December 03, 2019, 11:24:08 pm
Take a look at the attached msstyles. I made some changes. You might want to make more.

You had blue in your button images. Your AddressBand Background images and properties were bad. You likely still have a border color problem in your button images that I didn't have time to fix.

I don't see anything missing in your Windows Settings picture. It looks just like mine.
20  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Address Bar window1909 on: December 02, 2019, 10:12:35 pm
Both buttons are Address, Breadcrumb, & Search > Address > Go Toolbar > Basic > Normal > Active and Inactive > Button

When you press Previous Locations button it becomes Buttons, Boxes, & Controls > Boxes > ComboBox > DropDownButton
21  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Inherent property on: November 28, 2019, 10:57:57 pm
Go to the place the properties are inherited from and delete them there.

In this picture in the status bar it says "Tab(#101) inherits from TabStyle(#26), part#1, state#0":

which means you go to Styles > TabStyle > TabItem ( which is the same as TabStyle(#26), part#1, state#0) and remove the properties there:

22  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Network diagnosis dialog on: November 20, 2019, 02:39:01 pm
The white border is probably part of the Explorer & Shell > Shell > AeroWizard > CommandArea image.

No idea what that shadow might be.

24  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Old apps context menu on: November 08, 2019, 02:15:13 pm
Apps often use their own resources.

Search for the menu colors in your msstyles in WSB. If they aren't there then the answer is a definite no.
25  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Reduce adress bar / search bar on: October 25, 2019, 03:52:28 pm
You can make AddressBand background and SearchBox background images with the dimensions you want and make sure they are TRUESIZE.

You will also have to change the Go Toolbar button images.

That's the only way I can see to change the sizes with WSB. I tried it and it is possible.
26  Tips and Visual Styles / Tips and Tricks / Re: Reduce addressbar place height. on: October 18, 2019, 10:57:42 pm
Try comparing the 1909 aero msstyle with the 1903 one using DiffTool.exe and see if anything has changed.

If anything has changed then change it back to what it was and see what happens. If you don't get the change you want then it's not in the msstyle and so can't be changed using WSB.
27  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Toolbar background color on: October 02, 2019, 01:50:52 pm
In 1903 for me it's still:

Explorer & Shell > Explorer > Menu > Toolbar > Button > Normal

Just as it was in 7.

29  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Task dialog text color on: July 27, 2019, 12:51:14 pm
In 1903 the text you are pointing to is:

Explorer & Shell > Explorer > Items View > ItemsView > Details > <11>
Explorer & Shell > Explorer > Items View > ItemsView > Details > <12>
30  Help / Windows 10 / Re: .zip File Extract Dialogue Colors on: July 25, 2019, 12:46:02 pm
In 1903 it's Lists, Menus, & Tabs > Tab > AeroWizardBody FILLCOLOR
31  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Explorer, Windows 10 1903 on: July 02, 2019, 10:13:35 pm
I totally forgot that the location of the background of Explorer Nav Pane has changed in 1903.

If you are using the default XMLs then go search classes, parts and states for ExplorerNavPane and add a FILLCOLOR and a TEXTCOLOR there

If you are using MrGrim's updated XMLs then change the fillcolor at Windows 10 Dark Mode > Explorer & Shell > Explorer > Explorer Nav Pane

NEVER MIND. I just looked at your msstyles and it doesn't have any of this.

It's NOT a 1903 msstyles. It hasn't been ported or updated correctly. I'm surprised it even tests.

I'm done trying to answer your questions.
32  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Explorer, Windows 10 1903 on: July 02, 2019, 09:06:56 pm
Which nav pane? Explorer or AIDA64 Extreme or both?
33  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Explorer, Windows 10 1903 on: July 02, 2019, 02:58:36 pm
I don't know anything about the AIDA64 Extreme app. I don't use it. Colors and font might not be connected to msstyles.

The background color for the windows nav pane is Explorer & Shell > Explorer > ProperTree > Background > FILLCOLORHINT if that's what you are talking about.
34  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Explorer, Windows 10 1903 on: June 30, 2019, 10:49:51 pm
You asked where the FONT was so I told you. Now you're asking about COLORS. Exactly what color do you need? Be specific.
35  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Explorer, Windows 10 1903 on: June 30, 2019, 02:29:50 pm
Explorer & Shell > Explorer > TreeView
36  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Task manager line color on: May 25, 2019, 01:36:04 pm

2) Buttons, Boxes, & Controls > Boxes > Edit > Basic > EditBorder(NoScroll)
Lists, Menus, & Tabs > ListView > BORDERCOLOR
   Explorer & Shell > Explorer > TreeView > BORDERCOLOR
38  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Up button icon on: May 06, 2019, 09:20:10 pm
It shows in the save dialogs because these use the shell32 file in SysWOW64 which isn't covered by ONE
39  Help / Windows 10 / Re: Up button icon on: May 06, 2019, 01:20:56 pm
You can't hide it with WSB unless you shift the whole band to the left and lose the nav buttons too.

Use OldNewExplorer to do it.
