Very basic stuff

I have search through the postings in the Vista - Help and Windows7 - Help but I have not seen this mentioned.

Most people jump in to the deep end.

Before loading the aero.msstyles into VSB, do I -

1. Change the aero theme to another theme through Control Panel - Personalise?

2. Close Windows Explorer as I am changing the background colour of Windows Explorer?

Open a theme msstyles with WSB or make a copy of aero rename it and the msstyles etc. manually, then open  the msstyles  in WSB. Do your work then test or save, then use or not.  That's all. Don't worry about all that other stuff
