is it possible to change that band color at the bottom box  ( grey on screen ) ?



as all the grey parts for example in property windows too . - looked at tab section without result .

3am's link  is seems right , " BTN face color does the job for both .

window color for changing background gradient in dialog box  Smiley

Where is that ?

in Vista at least, it seems:
Explorer & Shell > Explorer > ControlPanel > LargeCommandArea
Explorer & Shell > Explorer > ControlPanel > SmallCommandArea

(if i am right, you must add your own image)
