You should also do what I say in #2 here:

https://www.vistastylebuilder.com/forum/index.php?topic=2430.msg13974#msg13974

These xml files (classmap etc.) contain a lot of changes necessary to properly edit rs2,3,4 & 5 msstyles.

They aren't in the Beta by default because Panda X never got around to it so MrGrim did it himself and you have to add it manually.

It's the 8.1 folder because a 10 folder never got added.

Hi 3am, are those files in that post you linked still up to date? I already downloaded the beta and that 8.1 folder u referred in your post here. Do I need to change anything else in order to work with the program on current win 10 versions?

You need this in 1809:

So... I just replace everything in the WSB directory with the content in Mr Grims "WSB RS 1809.zip" and I'm ready to go? Also - can you recommend a VM for testing purposes?

Just the Data folder.

You might need the shellstyle if you're using StartIsBack.

I don't use VMs so I really don't know what to recommend

What for? As far as I'm aware SIB only uses .msstyle files.

Hey 3am, do you know why WSB doesn't show me a preview for certain items? I replaced the original files with http://virtualcustoms.net/showthread.php/80749-Windows-10-1809-WSB-update-and-Dark-Mode-Style-Script and the preview sill doesn't seem to work.

WSB doesn't preview inherited images.

The image is at Taskbar & System Tray > TaskBand > Basic > TaskBand > Progress as you can see from the status bar.
