Just like the title says: is there a way to convert a Windows 8 theme to Windows 7?

I couldn't find any help on this so not sure if the question has been asked before.
I've tried exporting resources using style hacks to a new theme but it only broke it.
Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

I think you would have to do it manually making sure you skipped anything that was new in 8, 8.1 and 8.1.1.

You could do it by stylehack as long as you knew all the new stuff you would have to skip.

I'd do it manually bit by bit with a copy of 7 aero and the 8 msstyle open side by side so I wouldn't miss anything and keep testing and saving so I'm sure everything is working and I don't lose anything
