If I disable "Shadows under Windows" in the effects menu of the OS, the theme partially reverts to Aero. I presume there's some second copy of the window frames that needs to be changed to mine - where?

Windows and Caption Buttons > Aero > Dwm Window > Frames > Shadowless Frames > Normal
