I want to set the default Transparency (as OFF), the Color Intensity and the Color Brightness (all the options in the color controls when you click on Personalize in windows)

I have looked and look and looked but I can't find them.  So while I am custom skinning everytime I reload my theme it resets that back to defaults and I can't find their locations..

Thank you..that's semi working but I guess I don't understand the values here to change them properly. I can get the color to change but I can't turn off Transparency and ...however I decided to keep transparency in my theme.  But Still wish to know this for future.

Thanks for the reply..any more help would be great!

I can't seem to get a value that turns it off though.

I tried 0-255 then I though maybe it was 0 and 1 for on and off but that didn't work either.

It can be set in the msstyles or the theme or the control panel. If it's set in the msstyles DWM has a fit though.

So confused..Panda your answers are always confusing..

It doesn't appear there is any way to set the Transparenty checkbox to OFF and set the Brightness all the way left and the intensity all the way left..by default...in the VS.

What about editing the actual Theme file..? Is that possible? Will have to try when I get home maybe thats where those colors are being stored.

I found how to set the colorization in the theme file :

First choose the color scheme you want in Personalization and apply it, then open Registry Editor and go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM and look for a DWORD called ColorizationColor. The colorization code is the data of that DWORD.

Then paste it in your theme file.
