You don't need to change the Class Maps:
In Search EditText has just a font property and value and the FilterText has just a textcolor property and value.
BackgroundWithBorder is already there like Address, Breadcrumb, & Search > Search > Edit > Basic > Normal > Active > BackgroundWithBorder for instance.
Just add and delete the properties and change the values.

We are talking about the old search box right? As far as I know the new search box isn't in msstyles and can't be changed with WSB.
I don't use Mica For Everyone or any of that stuff. I use the WSB attached here just because it's fairly well organized and works ok: https://www.vistastylebuilder.com/forum/index.php?topic=2535.msg14456#msg14456.. (This won't test unless you first open and close the Show Controls preview window when you first start it. I don't know why) |

I just replaced the image at

ok can you help me how to redesign searchedit to be like normal edit like edit text background with border caret and etc. so like add classmap to cmap. and delete this strange searchedit like normal text and filter text and 3 thats the first step. i talk that in focused mode adressbar i can insert transparent image but in the search the same image if you look is when you write the text its opaque black
