201  Help / Windows 7 / Re: MenuBar Button hoover on: April 28, 2010, 01:46:46 pm
There's a way to get rid of that so it functions as a regular toolbar. I forget how though.
Got this from MR. GRiM at http://virtualcustoms.net/index.php
works great Jerry
Uncheck this property to have a proper image instead.
Fonts, Colors & System Metrics > Fonts & System Metrics > FlatMenus:Bool

The image to edit for this is:
Toolbars, Headers and Rebar > Toolbars & Headers > Toolbar > Button

I suppose you tried all the Explorer&Shell > Explorer > TreeView > TreeItem states right?

Maybe Explorer&Shell > Explorer > Proper Tree > 1. Been wondering when that was going to show up.

I don't have a Home Group so I can't check for sure.

Just tried them & no that not it
Thanks Jerry

Could be: StartMenu > Panels > Basic > More Programs Tab > New Programs

That changed the 1st start menu window new program I need it to
But I am looking for the new program in the menu after you click on
All Programs at the bottom of start menu & it goes to a 2nd window
on the left side start menu listing all programs installed I want to change
the highlight that shows they are new programs (orange/tan color in
screenshot)
Thanks Jerry

Hi all 1st post
If you go to Taskbar and Start Menu Properties>StartMenu Tab>click on Customize Button > & check the box for Hightlight newly installed programs. Then in the start menu if you click on all programs the new program will be highlighted  that is what I want to change (red rectangle in screenshot)
Thank You
Jerry
