41  Help / Windows 7 / Re: WSB Right Click Menu on: May 05, 2010, 09:21:46 pm
I tried but did not work. See, i removed the property "FILLCOLORHINT:COLOR" from explorer&shell>explorer>propertree>2, then added the 3 gradient properties, saved my stylehack, applied it and the gradient appeared, but the fillcolorhint:color property too. I tested and explorer shut down...

I may have forgot something ...?
42  Help / Windows 7 / Re: WSB Right Click Menu on: May 05, 2010, 07:43:40 pm
Stylehacks are limited ? For example, if i want to make a stylehack to display a gradient in the propertree instead of a single color, would it work ?

52  Help / Windows 7 / Re: Default Colors / Brightness / Transparency? on: April 20, 2010, 12:30:56 pm
I found how to set the colorization in the theme file :

First choose the color scheme you want in Personalization and apply it, then open Registry Editor and go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM and look for a DWORD called ColorizationColor. The colorization code is the data of that DWORD.

Then paste it in your theme file.
53  Help / Windows 7 / Re: Default Colors / Brightness / Transparency? on: April 15, 2010, 10:01:17 am
I tested to change the opacity, did not see nothing.
I also tried to change the cvalue of colorization, nothing happended.
Aero color scheme isn't set in the .theme file ?

And the image is too small, time would be unreadable.
57  Help / Windows 7 / Re: Please Help Clock! on: April 12, 2010, 11:57:00 am
Just edit the clock images, you'll be able to make it with the same size or smaller, till your background will fit to the flyout.

My upcoming visual style, called Crystal Gloss. Got some things to finish, not enough time. Still haven't fixed my problem with the bmp files in explorerframe.dll ( the magifying glass here, refresh icon and down arrow are from another VS, for a test ).

67  Help / Windows 7 / Re: Delete item box font on: March 28, 2010, 09:21:57 pm
Nice find !

But i think you can't force people to make so much changes with installing a Visual Style. 3 or 4 system files to replace is enough.
This can be for personnal use or proposed as an option with the theme, don't you think ?
68  Help / Windows 7 / Re: Delete item box font on: March 28, 2010, 01:33:23 am

72  Help / Windows 7 / Bmp file in exlorerframe... on: March 18, 2010, 09:03:24 am
Hey guys, i need your help one more time...

I'm trying for days to make my magnifying glass icon in exploreframe.dll.

Here is my image :
It contains some half transparent pixels.

I use photoshop, and when i create my alpha channel, i select only the solid parts of my image then i delete this part in the channel.
Here is what i get :
The half transparent pixels are hidden.

So, i did it another way, with the difference tool in Photoshop to set a special grey color for each half transparent pixel, like an opacity value.
Here is what i get :
Half opacity is broken...

I tried so many way to make it, dunno what i did wrong.
Plz don't tell me about using gimp, i simply hate to use it, as i use photoshop for years.

Thank yall !

76  Help / Windows 7 / Re: Control Panel Links on: March 16, 2010, 01:03:14 pm
Did you notice the searchbox in WSB ?

If you would have brain to test searching for "control panel" in this searchbox, you would have all that you can modify for the control panel.
I know where are located the values to change the fonts and colors you need, but i won't tell you.

We can truly not  assist you for each part of your doggy ugly visual style, learn by yourself how this app is running, get brain, test by yourself.
Hardly said, but am i wrong ?

I agree.

Perhaps this forum could be open to unregistered people in a way to expanding the community, and we could share little thoughts and ideas we find on sites like deviant art etc...

It was. But because of too many pirate copy users, Ave decided to secure the forum. I personnaly think this is essential.
