I wanted not so visible nav buttons lol so there it is .

And I will try as you ask , a horizontal gradient on context menu .

have to test compatibiliry when right clicking in IE8 windows because I noticed menu is larger and pic may show ugly .

are you sure ? because I 've tested latest Spitzen theme ( green spirit ) and he did manage to have  bold font in IE8 adress bar on normal active window  and I don't know where it is hidden or where to add font and color properties.

Maybe he surely kows how to do lol

So I've looked everywhere and read Panda's advices about font to add in adress > edit ( active/inactive ) but it seems to only concern when hovering text in adress bar .

I can't find how to modify default black font when launching normal IE8 window

oh so an update for now , I suppose it's better than nothing  ( notice the left part unwanted compared to the right one correct !)



don't understand why editing other pics than 635 get something like that ( when replacing both 634 and 635 . 

I presume it has to do with that pic :



just call it the " hollow" panel so if you interrested to make config items invisible you know how to do  lol 



so I think I'm gonna live with that til one day I understand what's went on ^^

So changing the way od editing/replacing system files did the trick partially for me . Surely win 7 has a weird file protect system which made my life such a pain those times   

I proceed differently as I used to edit the original files then save them to aother location ( ie : desktop or another partition ) then replace afterwards in system32.

I 'm gonna do your way , we' ll see .

BTW  forget my question , I've found the favorites icon location .

Sorry but I don't have no more this band !

Don't even remember how I made it disappear 

It's being several hours I've spent on trying to modify top panel color of config pane .

I know I have to hack shell32.dll file to achieve that ( #634 picture )

WTF is it impossible on my system ??

It drives me mad , I even edited #632/633/635 pics and so long no change when rebooting system !!

I followed Spitzen advices and nothing happens while other hacks worked .

It is weird and I'm really pissed off now .

I surely made a mistake with editing that part transparent 

an open document in paintshop , changed some color frame in msstyles but don't remember where , so seems I forgot to edit all the rest ( grey default ) 



don't know where it can be located , header column ???

If I'm not wrong you should find ( under 7 )

- explorer background at windows 7> explorer & shell > explorer >items view >fillcolor

- the vertical separator at explorer & shell >shell > preview pane >3

the top frame I don't know yet where to change it .

is it possible to change that band color at the bottom box  ( grey on screen ) ?



as all the grey parts for example in property windows too . - looked at tab section without result .
