Have to find now how to reduce width or make it transparent , arrows are glyph and not a pb but there is the middle part which doesn't match with 3am maps for windows 7 .

I have looked around to find this zone on taskbar without success

This happen when I have a lot of apps launched beside the pinned ones and resize to center them . I'd like to edit the black background with up and down arrows

I aked you because if you were using classic shell menu , I could have helped you to change font color there.
I don't use startisback so I can't tell ...

So I think I found where the issue is , and is a bit tricky as you hadn't told 3am you were using QTTABBAR I recognized on your screen
It uses its own color scheme so you have to go to apparence section in qttabbar options > folder view tab and uncheck " color view border" or change for another color

As you can see I could reproduce your issue with red color

I noticed under windows 10 , there is no more "menus" to refer like your topic more 7 maps for menus , specially this one ( view list )

I'm looking hard to find where to edit buttons styles of third party tools.
I'm currently using QTTABS which allows tabs on explorer and on my screen , we can see that tab ( master disk) is fully themed as a button .

My wish is to edit that particular tab and toolbar behind ,which comes from qttabs .( OS windows 1607 x 64 )

I know it is possible because the button skin comes from the visual style applied and change when I use another theme and qttabs does allow using visuals styles to theme it but I can't find where exactly( browed toolbars ,itemsview etc in vain )

I already have Mr GRIM custom classes installed , I sure have missed something ( plus the adress bar - adressband white lines to edit in adress field)

Nevermind , it's still possible to add a custom image/glyph by disabling immersive context menu for the desktop

Then you  also can edit the arrows with another pic

Since anniversary update 1607 , it seems a custom background for context menu isn't possible anymore

any clue ?

I managed to put a glyph picture on the right context menu ( popupbackground )but I noticed when I 'm hovering the mouse from top to bottom the first time on that menu , the glyph seems to "move" when displaying each first time



is there any property I should add or edit to avoid that "effect"  ?

anyway I solved the pb with help from Mtdirector but decided not to make navbar transparent

happy with result:) your theme became my fav one for daily use ( most of my windows apps suit very well )

I just set a custom background picture to add more flavour

Well some feedback under windows 10 pro 10586.36
3am or Mr Grim , do you know if there is any existing visual style including a custom explorer background ( I browsed the whole web without success ) so I can test- edit by myself ?

I got several blank screens when trying to make my own ones  ( don't understant all the steps when trying to use Mr Grim class files or shellstyle( where do I put them ? )
