Well what you need to do is save a 32 bit bmp with a alpha channel and through it into a alpha converter and then click shift+import

An idea would be mess with the sizing margins, and if that didn't work just make the taskbar buttons smaller.  7 is just sizing them smaller in the wrong way.

It works in Windows 7 I did it on my machine

The only way to remove it would be to make the Taskbar & System Tray > TaskBand > Basic > TaskBand > TaskItemButton a solid image with no transparency.

That actually didn't work for me.

The highlight effect can't be changed.  It uses the default Aero images always.

That works for Vista, but I am on Windows 7.

Taskbar & System Tray > TaskBar > Aero > TaskBar > <1>

Start Menu > Panels > Aero > Top > JumpListUser
Start Menu > Panels > Aero > Top > JumpListSystem

Just type jumplist in the search.
It will show you everything you can change
(Search in Windows Style Builder that is)

Thats a bad way of doing borders because it messes up the Alt+Tab big time!

Do I need to provide another screenshot?  Cause the frame and tool window frame is perfect but when I drag a window to the top of the screen or sides the transparent window it makes looks like that.  So what am I doing wrong?  Cause every other frame looks perfect, even the ones when I show desktop.

No it isn't SADLY!

It is a fill color, or a text color.  Cause those lines in normal aero are a grey not a white.

Then tons of people aren't making them correctly.

What I have noticed is every style that was made in VSB can't be ported correctly.  Cause all the visual styles I have made in VSB I can't port!

As you can see it the picture I have a vista start orb in the top image placement but it is using the images I have in the middle

When I make my taskbar 22px it uses Start > StartButton > Middle as the start button and it ignores the top and bottom start button images.

Why is it that when you have a 22px taskbar or smaller it uses your Middle Start Button for top middle and bottom??
