41  Help / Windows Vista / Re: Location on: October 11, 2009, 05:16:32 pm
Thanks, didn't know it was called the ReadingPane. I thought it would be something like PreviewPane since that's what it does but the PreviewPane is in fact the DetailsPane. Confusing enough :/

I think this has been asked by 3am not too long ago but I didn't pay attention to it and now it seems to be gone (and of course I need it now...)
Can anyone tell me where to change this color?

44  Help / Windows Vista / Re: The context-menu of start menu ? on: October 02, 2009, 03:18:33 pm
euh .. I wen to  Start > StartMenu > Panels > Aero > Top > ProgramsList
but how do you import an image there ?

I can't seem to find any background

and what does this field mean ( property ) " imagefile:filename image#872 " ??

It is hard for the noob I am  Whoa

The imagefile:filename image#872 property means that the image used is located in the msstyles under the name 872.
So if you open the msstyles with Restorator, the image 872 will be that one.

46  Help / Windows Vista / Re: Startmenu font? on: September 29, 2009, 05:24:26 pm

Anyone know how to change it? I tried adding properties to CommandModule in VSB, got nothing.
I hope it's not in the shellstyle. The text color is in the shellstyle though, so I guess it'll be there too.
Any help?

50  Help / Windows Vista / Startmenu font? on: September 24, 2009, 10:03:41 pm
Sorry if this has already been asked before, I used the search but I didn't find what I needed.
I changed several fonts here and here in my Visual Style, but for some reason that font changed too.
And I checked everywhere under the Startmenu tree, so I guess there's a property missing...

Thanks

Do you happen to have the orb for all the DPIs?

Well it's not because Microsoft felt like making skinners' life harder that you have to come here and troll.
Some things aren't possible to make in Vista, some elements are hardcoded, and it's not Ave's fault or anything.
And about the 7 clones, I find them annoying too, but well if people like it then why not. Some skinners like me do make different things, though.
Not saying I'm an awesome themer, but damn, we don't all make 7 clones. So please shut your mouth, be happy with Linux or whatever you're using, and just don't flame these forums.

54  Help / Windows Vista / [SOLVED]Where can I find this? on: September 02, 2009, 01:24:41 am
Okay well that little arrow is starting to piss me off. That's the arrow that shows up when the window is too small to display all the header items...

I can't seem to find it anymore x.x

Thanks in advance!

Sorry I now realize that it was a really dumb question, lol, thanks Panda.
56  Help / Windows Vista / Help with startmenu on: June 29, 2009, 10:51:35 pm
Hi, I was modding the startmenu to make it more minimal, came up with this and I dislike the fact that there's that much unused space at the top. I know there's a stylehack to change that part, I tried using the difference tool to see what it does, but I really couldn't figure it out by myself. So if anyone could tell me how to make this part smaller, it would be great. See the pic...

Need to bump once again :/ I really need help with this.
59  Help / Windows Vista / Re: glassy border on: June 22, 2009, 08:56:50 pm
You can't removed that, that's the blur. You can make it smaller by going Fonts, Colors & System Metrics > Fonts & System Metrics>PADDEDBORDERWIDTH:SIZE as rajtheeban said, but it'll still be there, so I'm afraid you'll have to make your borders a little larger.

Bump? :/
61  Help / Windows Vista / Re: Stretch -> Tile? on: June 14, 2009, 08:42:52 pm
A temp fix until I get home and find the property that affects this: change the image width to be as little as possible and adjust the sizing margins.

I tried that, and as I know nothing about sizing margins I messed a bit with them and got to the result that now it looks ok when the window has the image's size, and when I make it bigger, only a tiny bit stretches. But it still does.

I just tried it, it didn't work. Thanks anyways..
63  Help / Windows Vista / Stretch -> Tile? on: June 12, 2009, 04:08:43 am
Hello,
I've decided to put a little leaf pattern under the titlebar, see the pic. The problem is, this part stretches when I resize the window, making the pattern to look bad. I was wondering if there would be a way to make this part to tile instead of stretch. I tried adding the property SIZINGTYPE:ENUM TILE but it didn't work.

Thanks in advance.
