Title: Up button icon
Post by: koumy on May 06, 2019, 09:14:22 am
Hi all

I'm stuck with that location which drives me crazy. Since can't edit with mui file in 1803 build ( RS4 ) I 'm trying to figure how to hide this ugly icon ( didn't found where it is in WSB )

Thank you

You can't hide it with WSB unless you shift the whole band to the left and lose the nav buttons too.

Use OldNewExplorer to do it.

Thanks but already done, this icon keeps showing in save dialogs despite ONE that's why I'm looking for a more radical way :)

It shows in the save dialogs because these use the shell32 file in SysWOW64 which isn't covered by ONE

thank you for info I didn't knew.  :|
So I'm stuck and I make some attempts to edit shell32.dll.mui with icon in syswow64 then  :S

I'm not aware of latest changes according to builds , I noticed for example in RS5 1809 ( on my other work laptop ) there is no more shell32.dll.mui in syswow64 .

EDIT: no way , doesn't seem to change anything despite modded shell32.dll.mui .

I gave up and just messed to hide commandbar lol  :P
