Title: No more View or Help button in Command Bar
Post by: Nutrynion on October 19, 2017, 08:38:12 pm
I finally did it. Edited the Icons in shell32.dll replacing them with a blank ico file and then found the glyph button 'aka' "extend button" in the msstyles using wsb of course and made that transparent.

Note: the buttons are still there I just don't have to look at them now.

I like the View button, but the Help button is useless in 10.

Yeah I was contemplating that myself but for me once I set the views I don't touch them. It's there if I need it but I always just right click and choose my views that way. How I done it for the last 25+ years. ha
