Lists, Menus, & Tabs > Menu > PopUpItem > Normal and Hot

When selected it is Lists, Menus, & Tabs > Menu > PopUpBackground

Background is Fonts, Colors, & System Metrics > Fonts & System Metrics > MENU

Border is Fonts, Colors, & System Metrics > Fonts & System Metrics > BTNSHADOW

If you are using MrGrim's custom classmaps he moved all the popup stuff to a new Lists, Menus, & Tabs > Context Menu category.

well it doesn't work

Not being able to locate this bright background when selected

It's a light blue ( retrieved the color code 202,2017,224 ) but search in vain lol

Sorry. If you are using MrGrim's custom classmap then try:

Lists, Menus, & Tabs > Context Menu > PopUpItem > Normal and Hot
Lists, Menus, & Tabs > Context Menu > PopUpBackground

Your menu looks different from mine. Are you using QTTabBar? Might have something to do with it

my bad , yes you right , I realized then this menu part is set by qttabbar  :|
not possible to have a better result with dark theme
than you !

Fortunately there are your previous tutorials ! I must admit I get difficulties working both with Mr Grim class maps and the original ones and often get lost lol

btw 3am , have you ever tried making custom styles for public ? with your aknowledges it's surprising if not  :)

I'm gonna check also some parts for search box  got also those parts to edit white background when search
edit: found for text color search

I think the white part is tryharder but can't find the "close" button on the area

I can't tell what's going on from your picture. Again QTTabBar might be complicating things.

That white area is not TryHarder. I can't tell what it is from the picture.

The "close button" or x might be Address, Breadcrumb, & Search > Search > SearchBox > Basic > Normal > Active > <2>

Anyway thank you , I try to figure how lol

So I put the answer to this particular location ( the white background ) for other people

Thanks to gsw953 for this one :)

Explorer & Shell > Explorer > InfoBar > Background

Then that would make the "x" Explorer & Shell > Explorer > Tooltip > Close

Thank you !

I may consider writing a book with all those locations , and all of gsw953 and your findings and tutorials !
