I thought that section only for windows 8 theme, never realized that.For #1, it's about background color.I'm just curious why the column background color different with left pane background color, but i guess that color from windows system, not from my theme.

In the default Task Manager these colors are all different to show different levels of activity. The background on the left, bottom, top and far right is just Fonts & System Metrics > WINDOW:COLOR Those maps are good for 10 as well as 8.
