Title: Button Arrow
Post by: 3am on April 19, 2015, 02:55:08 am
Just stumbled across this. Don't think I ever saw it on the forum:

Green is Fonts, Colors, & System Metrics > BTNTEXT
Red is Fonts, Colors, & System Metrics > BTNSHADOW
Blue is Fonts, Colors, & System Metrics > DKSHADOW3D

Wasted a lot of time looking for that arrow lol

Where exactly is this button in Windows u.i.?   :|   Can't tell from just a lone button image with no surroundings.

Any Open window with a choice.

For instance Properties > Customize > Change Icon > Browse

You'll see it in the lower right.

Yeah when you press the arrow the part of the button with the arrow becomes Buttons, Boxes, & Controls > Buttons > Button > PushButton > Pressed while the rest of the button cycles between Buttons, Boxes, & Controls > Buttons > Button > PushButton > Defaulted and Buttons, Boxes, & Controls > Buttons > Button > PushButton > Defaulted(Animating)

The arrow itself is likely a Marlett font character like the Places List and Sub Menu arrows here:
