Title: Notepad Window Title Text Background Color
Post by: own3mall on December 11, 2013, 07:20:28 am
Hey Guys,

Working on converting the second theme, the Royale blue one.  I did this one from the base Aero Windows 8.1 theme and just used Stylehacks to pull certain sections out of the converted theme which seemed to work better than using everything that was converted.  The Luna theme seems to be OK even though it's terrible in the way that it works (but looks right :D).

Anyways, does anyone know where this color is coming from?

The white text for the Notepad window title has a silverish blue background color.   I can't seem to find it anywhere.  Anyone know where it is?  Also, is there an easy way to search for certain colors using their RGB value, and out of curiosity, why can't I ever find the color after using the color dropper tool in my image editor?  I find colors with similar values, but I never find the one of the actual color that my editor picks out from a screenshot.

You would need the 8.1 version of this application http://glass8.berlios.de/download.html to remove the color behind the text. And when you install the application, you can also modify the settings to allow proper round corners so that there is not color fill on the round corners as shown here.
