The glow properties can be found and changed in: Taskbar & Tray Notify > Taskband > Aero > Toolbar. Maybe there's a variable added somewhere? There's too many places for me to search for it :)

At the moment it is not easily possible to change StyleHacks. It is possible to create your own or use the Difference Tool to find out what a stylehack did.
