how is it possible to fade out the right side of the start panel? I wasn't able to find the attribute for this. In Basic: Start > StartMenu > Panels > Basic > PlacesList > DEFAULTPANESIZE:RECT > "0, 0, width, height" Also, there are some style hacks that come with vsb that can change the width of both sides. Apply a Start Menu Width Stylehack. ( ie: StartPanel Right Pane Width - 140px ) Then go to -- In Aero: Start > StartMenu > Panels > Aero > Bottom > PlacesList > DEFAULTPANESIZE:RECT > "0, 0, width, height" -- In Basic: Start > StartMenu > Panels > Basic > PlacesList > DEFAULTPANESIZE:RECT > "0, 0, width, height" And mod it from there. Title: Re: Resizing Right Panel of StartMenu Post by: jakobs on December 23, 2008, 10:07:06 am open any vs, apply the stylehack, goto start-startmenu-panels-aero-bottom-placeslist-change the value to 0, 0, 0, xx. and it doesnt work on aero and basic styles.
but i dont think that this is the right place for doing it. the stylehack changes the width of the panel but the values in placeslist (aero-bottom) stil are the same ???
