Title: Progressbar Problem -- I need help!
Post by: K-Johnson on June 21, 2009, 03:31:57 pm
Hi,

I recently released my themes: http://k-johnson.deviantart.com/

People have been reporting a bug that concerns one of my progress bars (the moving overlay).
Here are the images I have been sent:

I tried the Windows Update to see the move overlay progressbar but do not see any of that pink junk :S
I was using Clearscreen Sharp when I tested it (check for manual update in Windows Vista to see this progress bar).

* Properties are the same for this progressbar part compared to Aero theme

Well this problem doesn't occur to me.  I am using 32-bit Vista.

But the ones that it occurred to (at least two of them) use 64-bit Vista.

This is what sweatyfish told me:

is this only happening on x64? i know 64bit has issues sometimes with the alpha transparency of styles made on 32bit. I would suggest opening the resource in paint.net, add a new layer, merge down (flatten) then resave it as a 32bit .png. Then import it into VSB.

From what I see, it looks like an x64 issue.

Anyone know about this?
