1  Help / Windows Vista / Window background, Ms word/Outlook etc on: March 13, 2009, 05:21:29 pm
Hi, any idea where the window background for MS Word, Outlook etc is? Say you're starting a new blank document and originally the document background is white. I checked shellstyle.dll and could not find it in there. Any ideas?  Shocked

The text on the infobar is in the shellstyle you'll have to change that via hex editing.  UK.Intel's guide will help you.

Thanks, any idea where I can find this guide?

Hi, I am wondering where does one change the generic text color in explorer windows? As well as say the text color affecting OUTLOOK, I am using a theme that makes the underlying title text white and impossible to see?

Thank you, was finally able to find them... another question, where are the tiny icons for the taskbar? say you have a toolbar added for folder navigation, the little arrow that you click to open a folder view menu.

14  Help / Windows Vista / Stupid Question? Where do I change the right-click Menu? on: November 29, 2008, 04:22:59 pm
Hi I was wondering where I change the properties of the right-click menu, the generic one you see when you right click desktop for instance.
Also where do you change the properties, highlight values/text/background etc of the start menu ?? or classic start menu...

Thanks, I'm new to this ....
