Author Topic: Start menu item background?? (pic inside)  (Read 10081 times)

I'm trying to figure out how to change the background for the start menu items on the left side (ie programs, search results, etc.) In the below pic my left panel image is a single, solid fill but Vista is pulling the image for the programs background from somewhere else.

I haven't messed with Basic much, but seeing as that area is a solid color, I'm guessing that it isn't part of an image -- you might want to try searching for it by value.

Try searching "argb(160,50,50,50)", "argb(255,50,50,50)", and various other combinations.  I think VSB is case sensitive with these queries so you may want to add a space after each comma.

go to C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\VistaStyleBuilder\StyleHacks and copy the file in here.

Then go back to VSB, click the StyleHacks-Button and search for it.
