Title: browseiu.dll
Post by: Spitzen on February 08, 2009, 01:09:03 am
Hi,

I want to change the browseui.dll, but every time I've created a new bmp-file with photoshop and replaced it in the browseui.dll there is only a white rectangle...
What am I making wrong?

Hope you can help me

the browse ui bmp's cannot made with photoshop directly.

1. way: using alpha image converter

2. way: save your new file as png in photoshop.
using Gimp (freeware), opening a original browseui.bmp and and opening the new png, select all, copy it as a layer into the original browseui, set the original layer invisible, save as bmp, ready

You could also use Paint.net (freeware) to select the bit depth of your file when saving. I generally use 24bit .bmp's for system files.
