Title: Strange Problem
Post by: 3am on August 11, 2011, 03:19:14 pm
I just put up a map of the Language Bar over in the Maps thread, but I have a problem.

This is the default Aero bar. The main background colors of the Drop Down should be BTNFACE:COLOR (240,240,240), WINDOW:COLOR (255,255,255) and HIGHLIGHT:COLOR (51,153,255). But instead the colors are (242,242,242), (253,254,253) and (192,221,252) :S

It seems like there is a gradient, or something, involved which is affecting the entire background. Unfortunately I can't find it anywhere either in msstyles or msutb.dll. Anybody have any idea what's going on here?

Have you looked in "%WinDir%"\Resources\Themes\*Theme Name*\Shell\NormalColor\shellstyle.dll" > UIFILE > 1.txt?
