When I import a xp style, apply it and then reboot, the taskbar then is over 2 lines ... any ideas?

Resize the image for the "Middle Button" for the taskbar. See UKintel's Hex guide for more info on what size the canvas needs to be. But, the problem is with the Middle Button canvas size.

sry but i dont get the message...

maybe it was a misunderstanding:

1. convert a xp style to vista (and use it, taskbar is over ONE line)
2. reboot
3. now the taskbar is over TWO lines, without changing it myself (but it should be only over ONE, like before the reboot)

and now i would be nice to have a solution to avoid this.

Yes, my first post is the solution for that problem. If you have questions, compare the start button image size in some that I have ported to yours.
