41  Tips and Visual Styles / Visual Styles / Re: Where are the decent styles on: November 06, 2009, 08:05:44 am
I think he's talking about a basic theme.. not one with all these 'personal' ideas and additions or childish colors. I modified a Vista msstyle a while back ago just to display corners rather than round edges and completely removed that annoying blue glow.

In my opinion, the best msstyle out there... it's basic, no clutter and inline with the default msstyle, just fixed it like it should look Wink   However, the Windows 7 msstyle I have is still a work in progress... but I no longer have the time to fix it, maybe someone here would be generous enough to port the vista version over to W7. Cheesy

42  Help / Windows 7 / Vista Raw (Requesting Port to Windows 7) on: November 06, 2009, 07:55:07 am
Old version of a Vista corner I modified... I've been working on a W7 version, but can't seem to find the time. Most the images are redone, but the corners still need some work (very noticeable gap). Also, the image for the context menu is off color or size. If you feel like you can modify it, please do, but keep the original contents and no additions. I dont like the "round" corners in these new windows themes.

notice the gap in the corner...

corner should look like this... working FINAL Vista copy

WMP tab image... most images that were rounded have corners... same as the vista version

RAR includes the modified Vista Style (Aero msstyle/theme) and modified images and stream (psd/png) for Windows 7...

The file is a WORKING Vista Msstyle. If you like it rename the theme and msstyle or replace the default.

Windows 7 MSSTYLE I've been working with... if you apply it, you'll notice the context menu is bugged and the corners still need work.
File includes the W7 images (PSD and PNG) that I included in the Vista version, however, this is the Windows 7 msstyle.
